Dr. Yuro Ihns · Kootenay Smile Studio · Castlegar, BC
Hi, I'm Dr. Yuro Ihns.
I'm a dentist at Kootenay Smile Studio in Castlegar. I believe good dentistry starts with listening, and that the right technology can make your care more comfortable and easier to understand.
My approach
Many people come to me feeling anxious, and sometimes they've put off a visit for years. My first job is to help you feel at ease. I'll explain what I see in plain language and show you your scans and images. I'll go over your options, including the pros, the cons and the costs, and then let you decide. No lectures, and no pressure.
I invest in tools like digital scanning, same-day crowns, 3D imaging and laser dentistry because they can make treatment more comfortable, more predictable and more convenient for my patients.
